Why does this happen and is there anything I can do about it? The “Show pop-up buttons for adding rows and columns in tables” box in settings is checked.īTW for some reason I have stopped receiving your tips. But then next day the plus-sign is back and working again. Even closing it and re-opening it doesn’t seem to make a difference and I have to use right-click and “Insert Row” from the drop-down menu. If I load it and don’t get the plus-sign I know I’m done for that session. I am talking here about a document which I update once or twice a week, usually to add rows. The problem I am having in Word 2016 is sometimes I load a document and that plus sign appears, and sometimes I load the same document and however much hovering I do, I can’t get the plus-sign to appear. In Word 2013 if you hover near the left-hand edge of a table by the dividing line between two rows a plus-sign appears, and if you click it a blank row is inserted. In Word 2010 you had to right click on a row in your table and a drop-down menu appeared from which you chose “Insert Row”, with a choice of “Above” or “Below”. Word 2013 made it quicker to add rows to tables. Clear the Show Pop-Up Buttons for Adding Rows and Columns in Tables checkbox.Only users with a manager role or the Publisher Plus or Reviewer Plus. It is possible to turn off this tool if you find this feature too distracting by following these steps: The Insert Column tool can be very picky when it comes to mouse pointer location. (Or double-checking before actually clicking.) It is, for instance, possible to still be pointing inside the tool's plus sign and have the mouse pointer change to show you are going to select a column or row. The addition of the tools did complicate some traditional table operations (as in the width and height changes), which means that a user now has to be a little more careful in watching where they click. For instance, you may be trying to change the width of columns or height of rows by dragging the dividing lines, but if you click at the wrong time you end up actually adding an unwanted column or row. For some people-like Gary-the tool is a bother, as it can be a bit confusing where to actually click to get the results you want. If you click on the plus sign, then Word dutifully adds either a column or row, as appropriate for the tool. You can see the tools when, as Gary said, you move the mouse pointer above a column divider or to the left of a row divider. The Insert Column and Insert Row tools first made their appearance in Word 2013. Gary finds this feature to be distracting and more trouble than it is worth, so he wonders if it is possible to turn it off. Gary notes that as he works in a table and moves the mouse pointer above a line dividing two columns or to the left of a line separating two rows, he sees a "circled plus sign" appear, indicating that he can click to insert a column or row. The new R15 V4.0 arrives barely three years since V3.0 arrived in 2018, and the company has brought a new design language, new features, and even a new and sportier R15M version joining the line-up. The bike is available in three colours - Racing Blue, Dark Knight, and Metallic Red. The R15M is offered in two special paint schemes - Metallic Grey and the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition. The big update is the new design language on the 2021 R15 range. The bike borrows design cues from the new R7 that made its global debut in May this year as well as the M1 MotoGP machine. The changes bring the 155 cc models in line with the brand's R-DNA. Notably, the bike gets a new single bi?functional Class-D LED headlight with the new M-shaped intake duct in the centre. The headlamp is flanked by LED DRLs on either side. The upgrade also includes a reworked fairing and tail section on the motorcycle. Yamaha has also reworked the suspension set-up on the 2021 R15 V4.0 with the inclusion of USD front forks. The units replace the telescopic forks that were seen on V3.0. The 37 mm USD forks get a light (unsprung) lower end, while the upper end (sprung) gets thick outer tubes bolted to the chassis for higher rigidity. The B&MDrain plug kit is inexpensive and easy to install. Yamaha says the new structure offers more stability under braking while improving comfort and cornering performance. It eliminates the mess of pan removal and gasket replacement normally required when changing fluid. Yamaha has also added a new upper triple clamp (handlebar crown) with the rib shapes contributing to the strength–rigidity balance, and to accommodate the new front suspension. The new R15 now also comes with traction control and a quickshifter that is standard on the R15 V4 Racing Blue colour and the R15M. It activates at speeds over 20 kmph or when the bike is over 2000 rpm and accelerating. The model also gets a slipper and assist clutch and dual-channel ABS. The 2021 YZF-R15 and the R15M continues to draw power from the 155 cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine that produces 18.1 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. Power is slightly less than the V3.0 while torque has gone up by 0.1 Nm. The fuel-injected motor with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The R15M further differentiates itself with special seats, 3D emblem and new ByBre brake calipers. #B and m quickshift Bluetoothīoth bikes come with a new LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. There's also a new Trip/info button on the right side of the handlebar stalk that allows accessing different visual modes - Track and Street. While some choose to get their decorations from the store (and there’s nothing wrong with that), others like illustrator Sebastian Kerner choose to make their own. This Creepy Jack O’ Lantern Sebastian Kerner’s 3D printed Jack O’ Lantern was designed using cinema4D and a whole lot of talent. Once her designs were complete, she then turned them over to her friend Matthew Serle, who printed them out for her using a pair of Zcorp 450 3D printers and only charged her for the cost of the material! For those interested in printing their own, Talaaya posted her design files online for free, which can be found here. She made her design using PepaKura Designer in order to get the correct sizes for the pieces. Staying on the costume trend, redditor Talaaya decided to take her Halloween costume to the extreme by designing her own Varia Suit from Metroid Prime 3. Varia Suit Talaaya created her Varia Suit with the help of her friend Matthew Serle and a pair of Zcorp 450 3D printers. To get the correct size for the glove, Gross measured his fingers and found that printing out the parts 1.5-times larger, the glove fit perfectly. His design was made using PLA filament for the hand-plate, fingers and knives, which are hinged with brass paper fasteners for the hand and PLA joints for the fingers. Maker Peter Gross modeled his nightmare glove after the prop used in the Nightmare on Elm Street series. Horror fans will undoubtedly recognize that this iconic costume piece belongs to a nightmarish man who haunts dreams. The crayon boxes sold from five cents for a No.6 Rubens box containing six different-colored crayons to $1.50 for the No. The Rubens Crayola line, started in 1903, was directly targeted at artists and designed to compete with the Raphael brand of crayons from Europe. Some of these boxes were targeted for artists and contained crayons with no wrappers, while others had a color number printed on the wrapper that corresponded to a number on a list of color names printed inside the box lid, but some boxes contained crayons with their color names printed on their wrappers. The product line offered crayon boxes containing 6, 7, 8, 12, 14, 16, 18, 24, 28, or 30 different color crayons. By 1905, the line had expanded to offering 18 different-sized crayon boxes with five different-sized crayons, only two of which survive today-the "standard size" (a standard sized Crayola crayon is 3 + 5⁄ 8 in × 5⁄ 16 in (92.1 mm × 7.9 mm)) and the "large size" (large sized Crayola crayons are 4 in × 7⁄ 16 in (102 mm × 11 mm)). Crayola introduced its crayons not with one box, but with a full product line. It comes from craie (French for "chalk") and ola for "oleaginous" or "oily." The suffix "-ola" was also popular in commercial use at the time, lending itself to products such as granola (1886), pianola (1901), Victrola (1905), Shinola (1907), and Mazola (1911). The Crayola name was coined by Alice Binney who was a former schoolteacher. Then Edwin Binney, working with his wife, Alice Stead Binney, developed his own famous product line of wax crayons beginning on June 10, 1903, which it sold under the brand name Crayola. Initially formed as a partnership, Binney & Smith incorporated in 1902, and in that year Binney & Smith developed and introduced the Staonal marking crayon. Binney's experimentation with industrial materials, including slate waste, cement, and talc, led to the invention of the first dustless white chalk, for which the company won a gold medal at the 1904 St. Also in 1900, the company added production of slate school pencils. Binney & Smith's new process of creating inexpensive black colorants was entered into the chemistry industries competition at the 1900 Paris Exposition under the title "carbon gas blacks, lamp or oil blacks, 'Peerless' black" and earned the company a gold medal award in chemical and pharmaceutical arts. Initial products were colorants for industrial use, including red iron oxide pigments used in barn paint and carbon black chemicals used for making tires black and extending their useful lifespan. The company was founded as Binney & Smith Company by cousins Edwin Binney and Charles Harold Smith in New York City in 1885.
